TyreCompare.co.za (“TyreCompare”, “we”) publishes tyre price comparisons for South African consumers and businesses. We do not sell tyres; outbound links go to third-party retailers.

What information we collect

• Usage data: like most websites, our host and analytics tools may process technical data such as IP address (often truncated), browser type, referring URL, and pages viewed. This helps us fix errors and understand which content is useful.
• Forms: if you use submit a price or contact flows, we process the fields you choose to send (for example email message body or optional contact details) only to respond or improve listings.
• Cookies: we may set cookies or use storage for preferences, security, or measurement. You can clear cookies in your browser settings.

Third parties

When you click through to a retailer, that site has its own privacy policy. We are not responsible for how retailers, ad networks, or payment processors handle your data. Advertising slots on TyreCompare may be served by third parties subject to their policies.

POPIA and your rights

South Africa's Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA) gives you rights around access, correction, and objection to certain processing. Retention

We keep information only as long as needed for the purposes above (for example operational logs, abuse prevention, or support follow-up), unless a longer period is required by law.
