Who makes Hilo tyres?

Hilo is the house brand of Xingyuan Tire Group, based in Dongying in China's Shandong province and founded in 1994. Xingyuan is a genuinely large operation, best known for truck and bus tyres, where the Hilo name has run for decades. The passenger-car range is newer: it comes from the group's car-tyre arm, Shandong Xinghongyuan Tire Co., whose plant dates from 2013. The same group also makes Anchee and Annaite, so Hilo and Anchee tyres in SA listings are cousins from the same factory family.
